Mitchell in London is an exceptional op- portunity to study comparative law with international scholars and top practitioners. The courses are comprised of a combination of lectures, class discussion and extensive small group break-out sessions that require hands-on practical application of topics under discussion.

The School of Law at Queen Mary has a long tradition of welcoming overseas students who wish to incorporate legal academic study at Queen Mary into their home institu- tions academic programmes, normally for one semester, from September to December. Students have the opportunity to attend a selection of law classes from our prestigious LLM programme and receive credits towards their home degree.

The practice of law is increasingly interna- tional, and students who take the opportunity to study abroad demonstrate their apprecia- tion of the broader dimensions of law. Law students from other U.S. law schools who have completed the first year and are in good standing with their law school are also eligible to apply for any of the summer programs.

Students can choose to study either in the Fall or Spring Semesters or the full academic year at the University of Nottingham. The University of Nottingham is one of the lead- ing law schools in the United Kingdom. Not- tingham, the capital of culture and shopping located in the East Midlands, is known for its connections to the legend of Robin Hood.
