In cooperation with the Central European University, Budapest, Hamline’s Dispute Resolution Institute offers students the opportunity to complete a 6-credit integrated in-residence and distance learning program to earn a certificate in international business negotiation.


Simultaneous residential courses in the fundamentals of international negotiation are taught in St. Paul, MN and Budapest, Hungary, featuring faculty from both institutions. Following the one-week residential portion of the program, students from both courses complete an advanced international negotiation course together in a distance format which will engage students in the way that international business negotia- tions really occur—enabling students to navigate technology, time zones, and language and cultural differences.
