Example of classes: Refugee Law and the Australian Legal Systems
This class focuses on global protection for in- dividuals fleeing persecution and other forms of harm. We explore the relief provided under international, U.S., and Australian law for refugees, victims of trafficking in persons, crime, civil unrest, and natural disasters. We engage in a practical approach through work on simulated cases, which complements our discussion of materials on relief.

Example of classes: Law and Business in the European Union
“The practice of law is increasingly interna- tional, and students who take the opportunity to study abroad demonstrate their apprecia- tion of the broader dimensions of law.
Law students from other U.S. law schools who have completed the first year and are in good standing with their law school are also eligible to apply for any of the summer programs.”
Providing an understanding of the various legal and political issues facing the European Union, this program is particularly valuable for those interested in international business transactions within Europe. After completing coursework in Vienna, students have the option of completing an externship in Vienna or Budapest.
