Freie University Berlin is a leading research institution. Key topics of research include Europeanization and international interlinking of law, with emphases in the European and international law and comparative law, but also in the international economic and regulatory law, the law in social practice, and age and demographic change within the field of law.


This three-week program includes classes in European Public Law, a Workshop in Corpo- rate Governance and European Intellectual Property. Classes meet 9:00 -1:30 Tuesdays through Fridays, and Mondays from 12:30 -5:30 to maximize student’s free time on the free time on weekends. In Cologne, classes meet at the Institute for American Law at the University of Cologne. Externships are avail- able to earn 1.5 additional credit hours.


Bucerius Law School is the first private uni- versity for law in Germany. Located in down- town Hamburg the Bucerius Law School offers international students a one-term Program in International and Comparative Business Law. All classes are in English.


Meet and work closely with renowned academics and practitioners from the field of international business law.
