Professionalism based on sound education and solid skills serves as the very foundation of the fitness industry, a fact appreciated most fully by its teaching and certifying organizations. While they continue to add to and improve upon the services they offer, others—e.g., training firms, trade associations, equipment manufacturers—are also making valuable contributions to the industry’s knowledge base. Together, they ensure that clubs will become increasingly professional… and profitable.
