Aqua Zumba - Aqua Fitness Program
The Aqua Zumba instructor training program teaches participants how to integrate the Zumba formula and philosophy into traditional aqua fitness disciplines. It will help instructors create challenging, safe, and invigorating aqua workouts that are appropriate for all exercisers, including active older adults. Participants must be active Zumba Instructor Network (ZIN) members. They’ll receive an official training CD and DVD; an Aqua Zumba Instructor’s Manual; a certificate of completion; and CECs from AEA, ACE, and AFAA.
To become a Zumba Instructor, participants must attend a Zumba Basic Steps Level 1 (or Zumba Gold) instructor training course, and keep their instructor status current. Zumba Basic Steps Level 1 teaches the foundation and formula to lead a Zumba class. Participants learn steps to four basic rhythms (merengue, salsa, cumbia, reggaeton); how to put these steps together into a song; and how to create a Zumba class. They receive several DVDs, a music CD, and CECs.

The Zumba Fitness Program
NEW Ugi
Ugi is the ultimate 30-minute workout that combines endurance, strength, and stability training into a fun, challenging method of becoming functionally fit. Ugi offers health clubs an opportunity to double their capacity with a powerful, full-body interval workout class—with no major set-up, easy storage, and complete portability. The company also offers training workshops that teach group fitness instructors and personal trainers the unique Ugi system.
The Zumba program fuses high-energy Latin and international rhythms with easy-to-follow moves for a one-of-a-kind fitness program. Routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to sculpt the body while burning fat. Zumba is taught at 90,000 locations in 110 countries, with 10 million participants taking classes every week. Zumba Fitness instructor training courses provide continuing education credits (CECs) for ACE, AEA, AFAA, and CanFitPro.
Zumba Basic Steps Level 2 - Advanced Training
The Zumba Basic Steps Level 2 workshop provides advanced training by teaching four more rhythms (belly dance, flamenco, tango, samba), while reinforcing the Zumba program’s successful formula: an easy, exhilarating, and effective experience for everyone. This training course focuses on technique, form, and new choreography to improve participants’ skills and enhance their professional status. Participants receive an official training CD and DVD, an Instructor’s Manual, a certificate of completion, and CECs from ACE and AFAA.
