Sunfold Systems - Foundations Supplement Light Filled Living with Solarlux
Solarlux’s contemporary Wintergarden structure, made from aluminium, can be added to any part of the house creating an exciting, light filled living area. A glass roof and thermally insulated folding glass doors allow the light to fill the room and the doors can be folded back to open up the room to the outside, eliminating the barriers between inside and out, creating a seamless transition between the house and the garden or patio and also the ‘wow’factor. Solarlux Systems Ltd manufacture the wintergarden and doors which are thermally insulated and have multipoint locking systems providing high security and a choice of double or triple glazing, all designed to maintain heat inside the house in winter or reflect heat from the house keeping it cool in summer. The folding glass door systems are made from aluminium (to any RAL colour), wood/aluminium or a choice of triple laminated wood to ensure stability. The Solarlux product range covers folding glass doors, canopies, glass houses, horizontal sliding walls, wintergardens and balcony glazing.

In today’s world ecology and energy saving are key elements that have to be considered with any building project. This is reflected in the 2010 changes to Part L that asks for 25% improvement on efficiency over dwellings in 2006. Choosing the correct glazing product is therefore of particular importance to ensure you get the best performance
