Single Ply Protection With a Green Roof Finish


SpectraROOF Single Ply Engineering, a division of IKO PLC, has provided a waterproofing system on the newly built Riverview Care Home, a development in Witham, Essex. Main Contractor, SDC Builders in Bedford, requested a green roof as the top finishing layer on the roofs pitched at 17.5 degrees, and wanted a waterproofing membrane system with a long life expectancy which was not PVC. JFC have been appointed sole UK distributor for Graf Waste Water Treatment Plants. Graf plants have surpassed EN 12566.1-3 water discharge quality 20 30 20 with a final discharge of 15 23 2.1. Graf tanks in most cases do not require any concrete during installation which saves the end user many hundreds of pounds against competitors units.
