Now available in the United Kingdom for the first time, the Confort Digital Electric Radiator compliments Heatec’s well established Eco-Friendly Forte range of cast aluminium Designer radiators. Based on the New Forte design the Confort Digital Electric Radiator incorporates a programmable twenty four hour seven day timer with room temperature thermostat. The Confort Electric radiator gives a natural, silent and comfortable warmth wherever it is installed. Gentle heat radiation reduces airborne dust circulation and improves personal and domestic wellbeing by helping to combat allergies. Confort Electric Radiators are available with five outputs – 500w, 750w 1000w, 1500w and1800watts. All the radiators are 582mm high and are fitted with 1 metre of cable for hard-wiring to the electrical circuit.

Single Ply Protection With a Green Roof Finish
SpectraROOF Single Ply Engineering, a division of IKO PLC, has provided a waterproofing system on the newly built Riverview Care Home, a development in Witham, Essex. Main Contractor, SDC Builders in Bedford, requested a green roof as the top finishing layer on the roofs pitched at 17.5 degrees, and wanted a waterproofing membrane system with a long life expectancy which was not PVC. Roofing Contractor, Cambridge Asphalte Group, recommended SpectraROOFs’ mechanically fixed Spectraplan SM120 dark grey, a polyester reinforced TPE waterproofing system with a dark grey standing seam to complete the specification.

JFC have been appointed sole UK distributor for Graf Waste Water Treatment Plants. Graf plants have surpassed EN 12566.1-3 water discharge quality 20 30 20 with a final discharge of 15 23 2.1. Graf tanks in most cases do not require any concrete during installation which saves the end user many hundreds of pounds against competitors units. The Graf Picobell unit has 15 minute cycles on the blower saving some 50% on electricity costs again against other units, and Graf units have many useful benefits such as putting the unit on Holiday mode when you are away!
