Xpelair Extend Popular MVHR Range
Xpelair Ventilation Solutions is responding to the growing demand for mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) solutions by extending its market leading Xcell range. The company has introduced the Xcell 200 Vertical MVHR range to complement its existing Xcell series, which were recently introduced by Xpelair to raise the bar in the ventilation market. The new Xcell 200 is available in two models (QV and QVW) and can be wall or loft mounted. The range is fully reversible and therefore can be handed to meet any ducting configuration, with front and rear access panels to give installers total flexibility.

Wilo UK has launched the new Wilo-Stratos PICO high efficiency small circulator pump into the UK marketplace. The latest in the Wilo family of high efficiency ‘A’ rated small circulators, the PICO is right at the top of the class when it comes to energy efficiency savings with an average annual electricity consumption of just 46.5 kWh for a typical home. Thermoboard Launches New Lightweight and Flexible Composite Manifold
Thermoboard, Wavin’s Underfloor Heating Division, has introduced a new and unique Composite Manifold to its comprehensive range of UFH solutions. A modular unit designed with the installer in mind, the Thermoboard Composite Manifold differs from previous manifolds due to its increased level of flexibility and straightforward installation. Just one single and extendable Composite Manifold can host up to 12 individual ports meaning that installers can now configure any system from simple flexible modules. They can also retrofit another circuit to the manifold in a matter of minutes at any point in the future using simple twist lock sections. Equally, the manifold ports can be installed facing up or down to accommodate pipe work on both the ground and upper floors, eradicating the need for manifolds on each flooring level. Michelle Fleming, Wavin Category Manager for Surface Heating & Cooling, comments: “While in the past, manifolds may have been cumbersome and unsightly apparatus which were difficult to balance, the Thermoboard Composite Manifold is lightweight, highly adaptable and simple to both install and balance.
