Glazing Vision is first to harness PV technology into standard size residential glass rooflights. PhotoVoltaic or PV cells have been installed in many glass roofs all over the world in the last few years as a way of harnessing natural daylight and turning it into electrical renewable power. In the residential market, however, these products have had to be specifically commissioned and designed. Whilst already having a successful history of designing bespoke PV products, as the country’s leading pioneers in residential glass rooflights, Glazing Vision (GV) set out to solve this problem of standard sizing, culminating in a nationwide and European research and development programme.
