Glazing plays a key role in the design scheme at the newly built Nailsea School and Planet Partitioning has supplied large quantities to the value of £400k based around their innovative Vertex dry-jointed product. This includes partitioning, full door sets, windows and atria, all with exceptionally high fire and acoustic ratings. Bespoke solutions have been supplied including windows for three music studios and fire-rated glazing to separate the reception from the large circulation space. This is flooded with natural light also thanks to Planet who designed and installed the bespoke atria screens.

Fire Protection Becomes a Matter of Public Record
This light weight, non- combustible, mineral-bound board has been installed on a new mezzanine floor that has been added to the Central Records Library of Plymouth Hospital NHS Trust. The mezzanine level has been installed as part of an extension project to the existing Central Records Library. It is being used to store patient records and X-ray data and will help the hospital comply with clinical record storage standards.
