Entegris Launches 3D and MEMS Dispense System

Billerica, MA — Entegris, Inc. (NAS- DAQ: ENTG) has introduced the lat- est addition to its IntelliGen® family of two-stage dispense technologies used in microelectronics manufactur- ing processes. The IntelliGen MV aug- ments the proven performance of the IntelliGen Mini and HV dispense sys- tems with a solution optimized for 3D and MEMS applications, enabling high-purity filtration and repeatable dispense of mid-viscosity fluids. According to the company, the

growth of 3D IC technology and MEMS, means that manufacturers require a higher level of throughput and greater filtration capabilities to meet their unique process demands. Each application requires an inten- sive focus on real-time, interactive di- agnostics and feedback. The Intelli- Gen MV provides several new diag- nostic and detection features to re- duce defects, simplify recipe program- ming and improve filter priming. The IntelliGen MV Dispense

System’s compact design allows man- ufacturers to install multiple dis- pense systems in a single track with the ability to process several

chemistries simultaneously and maximize filter performance even in the most sensitive photochemicals between 100 and 300 centipoise.

Printed Circuits, Inc. Upgrades Imaging

Voltage Available! 125-475 VDC Input

NEW HiQP Input

Minneapolis, MN — Rigid-flex circuit board manufacturer, Printed Cir- cuits, Inc. has recently installed a Maskless Lithography printer and an Orbotech Paragon 9800 laser di- rect imager at its facility in Min- neapolis, Minnesota. The new print- ers give the company advanced capa- bilities for imaging inner layers, outer layers and soldermask on ad- vanced technology PWBs. According to the company, hav-

ing both systems in place gives it a tremendous increase in flexibility and processing ability. Every pho- toresist and soldermask that is avail-

able responds to different wave- lengths of light. Having both expo- sure systems allows the company to pick the best photoresist or mask for the application, and then pick the best piece of equipment to image it. That flexibility will advance the com- pany’s technology capabilities while

improving its capacity. Contact: Printed Circuits, Incor- porated, 1200 West 96th Street,
