Illinois Capacitor Liberty, SC — A Cornell Dubilier subsidiary company has acquired the assets of Illinois Capacitor and its affiliates. The company sees this acquisition as a strategic move to grow its board-level power capacitor business and to service customers in Asia through the sales, warehouse and logistics center that Illi- nois Capacitor currently operates in Hong Kong. JOT Automation and Ginolis in Life

Leyard and Dimenco in Technology


License Agreement Veldhoven, The Netherlands — Dimenco has signed a Technology License Agreement with Leyard Photoelectronics Co. Ltd, a manufacturer of large LED walls. Terms of the pact call for developing and launching the first No- Glasses 3D LED wall. In conjunction with the Technology License Agreement, Leyard has acquired an equity position in Dimenco. This capital investment will be used entirely for technology development supporting Dimenco’s growth ambitions. Until now, 3D auto-stereoscopic (No-Glasses) displays were always manufactured in small sizes, limited by the available sizes of the LCD. By adding No-Glasses 3D technology to LED, the market can enjoy large 3D ex- periences for both outdoor and indoor applications.
