Samsung’s large-format display product (LFD) line is being boosted by the introduction of a new HDBaseT plug-in module, powered by the Valens chipset. Select models of the line will receive the enhancement, which the company says will mean that LFD installations become significantly simpler and less costly. The HDBaseT Receiver on Samsung’s new ME75C Full HD

display is being showcased on the HDBaseT Alliance stand throughout ISE 2014. Powered by the Valens chipset, HDBaseT technology enables all- in-one connectivity between HD video sources and remote displays through a single 100m Cat5e/6 cable. This is capable of delivering uncompressed high definition video, audio, Ethernet, control signals and up to 100W of power. Part of the ME-C Series, the ME75C is a slim, lightweight 75in

display that supports the new HDBaseT plug-in module. The ME75C provides increased energy savings over CCFL backlit displays with a thin chassis and narrow bezel to help simplify installation and provide a message with impact. Thomas Evans, director of

marketing, professional display at Samsung’s Enterprise Business Division, said: “HDBaseT provides our customers with a connectivity

solution that significantly reduces the time and money required to complete the job when compared to other typical cabling options. Using HDBaseT for digital signage is an industry game-changer that enables professional installers to complete their projects on-time and on-budget.” Micha Risling, marketing chair of the HDBaseT Alliance, added: “The commitment Samsung has shown to advancing the

development and deployment of HDBaseT has been strong since Day 1 and today that commitment is stronger than ever. Since co-founding the HDBaseT Alliance in 2007, Samsung has helped grow the Alliance to nearly 80 members made up of the world’s leading AV manufacturers and led the development of HDBaseT- enabled components for professionals and consumers.” Stand: 7-C190

Solution for corporate public spaces MULTITOUCH

Described as the ultimate touch solution for corporate public spaces, MultiTouch is debuting the MultiTouch iWall at ISE 2014. memory. Layers, including frames and logos, can be controlled individually in time and transition, and can be fully resized. Version 1.3 of the Ascender 48

offers several major improvements, says Analog Way. The link mode will provide the ability to link two units (being demonstrated on-stand) with inputs and outputs shared and added. Units will then function as one 24 x 8+2 scaled seamless matrix system with two live mosaic previews, 84 input plugs and 96 scalers available.

Advanced layer management

ensures higher flexibility with more layering capability. When one output is disabled, its layers can be added to another output and managed through Web RCS, the web-based remote control software designed for the LiveCore series. Custom monitoring allows

personalisation of the preview/ monitoring output. Up to eight display templates for the monitoring output will be stored and easily recalled using the Web RCS. Stand: 11-F58
