SMART BUILDING

Smarter house at the touch of a button HAIDY

Showcasing what it describes as a revolutionary product for home automation, Czech company Haidy is presenting the Haidy Home at ISE 2014. The initial version of Haidy Home comes with basic modules for controlling heating, lights, blinds, security, heat recovery and energy management, but the

company says other modules will be added in the near-future. The product runs on a programmable logic controller (PLC) and thus, according to Haidy, provides a very high level of robustness and reliability. All control units are

preprogrammed to offer all the available functions of Haidy Home, but can be customised to the specific requirements of each

Tallyman co-ordinates critical infrastructure components TSL PRODUCTS

The TallyMan Control System from TSL Products sits at the heart of any control centre, co- ordinating critical infrastructure components and providing operators with a common platform to universally control multiple pieces of equipment from different vendors including routers, multiviewers and cameras. Featured at ISE 2014 is the

new TallyMan TMCP pushbutton control panels, the TMVP Virtual Control panel, and the

established TM1 and TM2 TallyMan system controllers. Capable of displaying a real- time overview of a facility, TallyMan ensures that system managers are aware of (and can instruct) relevant systems using smart configuration tools and an intuitive interface which gives open or restricted access to control of a facility’s devices. TallyMan offers a choice of two control panels: the TMVP Virtual Control panel and the featured hardware-based TMCP push- button control panels. Stand: 9-G140

customer. During this personalisation process, a Haidy programmer will enable specific functions on a SD card. The card is then inserted into the control unit, to be delivered to the home for installation into the distribution board. Based on the customer’s specific requirements, the installation then takes place, carried out by an electrician or AV installer.

There is no need for any further programming, but if required customers are able to easily modify the configuration to reflect changing requirements of the system in the future. Manual operation can be performed either by wall switches or via computer, tablet or mobile phone. It can also be set to respond automatically to either time programmes, or on the basis

of input from the sensor elements measuring temperature, lighting, humidity or CO2 content in the air. Stand: 7-N210

Enado cross-platform control WYRESTORM

The new Enado AV system controller and user interface from WyreStorm provides integrators with “a more affordable, integrator and user-friendly solution for end-to-end control and support of HD AV distribution systems and its electronics”. It is WyreStorm’s first AV control

system and has a browser-based user interface that can use any internet-enabled device as a controller. When paired with the Enado Controller, it should provide an affordable, out-of-the-box control system for AV distribution system applications. To the end- user, Enado acts as a traditional

app, easily accessible via any iPad, Android device or smartphone. But behind the interface is a robust software/hardware product designed to be installed without programming experience. The 1RU Controller offers 16 assignable IR ports, eight integrated IP ports, and an array of contact closures with built-in secure WiFi for connection to any

local internet-enabled devices. Enado can equally sit on a traditionally secured LAN. A built-in device editor and IR learner means new devices can easily be created. A series of RS- 232 and IP drivers for a variety of devices will be integrated and available prior to the product’s March ship date. Enado can automatically identify and deliver the correct visual format for any connected device regardless of operating system, device type or screen orientation. This allows even smartphones to be scaled within the compact screen sizes, yet still provide full control functionality. Stand: 5-U86
