DIGITAL SIGNAGE

For the latest show news and updates follow #ISE2014 LFD duo has digital signage in view IIYAMA

Two large format displays, the 47in ProLite LH4780SB and 55in ProLite LH5580B, both designed for digital signage, are expanding the iiyama LFD range. Incorporating LED-backlit technology and design for 24/7 operation, the LH4780SB and LH5580S offer low-power consumption and reliable long- term operation, according to iiyama. In addition to their 1920 x1080 resolution, both panels

feature wide viewing angles and perfect colour clarity.

The IPS LED LH4780SB offers 700cd/sqm brightness, which assures crisp images even in brightly lit environments, while the LH5580S, an AMVA3 LED panel, offers 450cd/sqm. Both displays feature a built-in

expansion slot supporting the Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) standard, thereby simplifying the installation of a plug-in PC for digital signage applications. The company claims

that the displays are therefore perfectly suitable for places like airports, shopping malls, showrooms and conference rooms. Both offer a three-year, on-site advance exchange warranty as standard. The monitors incorporate a slim and elegant design and as they are landscape, portrait and table-top compatible, iiyama says the units could adapt to any specific signage needs. Features include PIP and PBP for videoconferencing or handling

multi-input content in many environments. Inputs for both include two HDMI ports, as well as VGA, DVI, DisplayPort, BNC-Video and S-Video and two USB 2.0 ports. The company claims the connectivity options as well as the integrated speakers ensure compatibility across various devices and media platforms. Stand: 10-K146
