Extended viewing compounds display choice APANTAC
An expansion of the Crescent Video Walls series is being demonstrated on the Apantac stand. The new configurations in the videowall range, which display one HDMI input video signal across several monitors, are the Crescent Wall 2x8, the Crescent Wall 2x3 and the Crescent Wall 3x4, which respectively allow 2x8 portrait-style, 2x3 landscape- style and 3x4 landscape- style configurations. The range also includes the
Crescent 4K, which can be configured in 1x4 mode to be
used with a 4K monitor, as well as display modes of 2x2, 1x3 and 1x4 portrait-style configurations. Displayed across nine monitors in a 3x3 configuration is the Crescent Wall 3x3, with additional modes for three 2x2, 1x3 and 1x4 walls. This model also supports 2x3 landscape-style configuration. The Crescent Wall 4x4 offers a 16-monitor wall in a 4x4 configuration. Additional modes for this model include four 2x2, 1x3, or 1x4 walls. This model also supports Apantac's new 2x8 portrait-style or 3x4 landscape-style configurations. Output resolution for the
videowalls can be set for 1920x1080p or 1366x768p while accepting 720p, 1080i or 1080p source signals. The hardware can be a compact half-rack unit or 1RU chassis size, and the models include a built-in extender for every output to extend the DVI/HDMI video signals over Cat6 cable. These allow the source to be up to 35m (115 ft) from videowall hardware. Controlling the Crescent
Video Wall series is carried out via front panel buttons, while a built-in web control allows the user to configure the videowall. Stand: 10-S114
