UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS Expanding tables allow wider debate MODUL IT


Designed for the telepresence market, two models of the T3500 Video Conference Table are being launched with greatly enhanced expansion capabilities. Up to 11 people are now able to participate in a videoconferencing session and simultaneously hold an internal meeting.


The interior of the table is equipped with a cable channel, has a niche for PC hardware and rack-rails with a height of 10RU.


In the centre of the tabletop panel, different connectors and power sockets are installed for easy access to the interior space, supporting connections to laptops, Compact Flash cards and displays.The T3500 T1 model offers a TV stand for videoconferencing supporting two 32-55in TVs or one big 40- 65in set. The T3500 T3 model is available with a three-section cabinet at the base of the stand. The basic videoconference kit, comprising a table and stand, is


142.2cm x 337.8cm x 74.2cm (W x D x H).


Each table can serve up to seven members of a conference in its minimum configuration, but Modul IT offers a turnkey solution with the addition of connecting bridges EXT2 and EXT4. With these links, the workspace can support an increase of two or four respectively in the number of participants in conferences and negotiations, allowing nine or 11 people to gather around the table. VC benefits from Terminal velocity TRUECONF


The latest updates to the TrueConf Terminal videoconferencing system include Full HD videoconferencing and new hardware options. As well as new firmware


(v1.3.0), there are two new hardware configurations for larger conferencing rooms. In addition to the webcam users originally received with TrueConf Terminal, existing customers can


now choose either an SD or Full HD PTZ camera. All future installations will also include a new 10in capacitive touchscreen, which replaces the 8in resistive panel used previously. Firmware changes include an


improved touchpanel interface and widescreen 16:9 layout support. Users can now make calls to mobile and landline phones directly from the TrueConf Terminal. These changes allow users to experience high-quality video


and clear sound during group videoconferencing sessions in any conference room configuration. This version of TrueConf


Terminal also allows users to integrate meeting rooms and conference halls of any size into the corporate videoconferencing system. Thanks to the integration with PTZ camera control systems, focus on the speaker can be applied automatically. The touchpanel will allow any


Mediasite platform improved SONIC FOUNDRY, INC


The Mediasite Enterprise Video Platform by Sonic Foundry has undergone some enhancements, which are on show at ISE 2014. The platform now offers multiformat video capture with synchronised automation of multiple video signals, meaning two or more videos can simultaneously stream within its multi-window Mediasite Player. Also available are the ML HD


Recorder for event capture and on-the-go webcasting, and a centralised, full-spectrum recording model which extends the power of video to any room, automatically extracting video from sources such as IP cameras and videoconferencing tools. Mediasite’s Voice Search Service pairs phonetic search with custom word lists, allowing users to accurately search and discover contextually relevant content contained in any video.


Visitors can also see My Mediasite in action, an interface from which users create, upload, manage and share their own video content.


Mobile upload gives users the ability to upload content directly to Mediasite from any mobile device or any video format, including Adobe Flash, QuickTime, AVI, Windows Media and MPEG4. It transforms content into rich video files that are


indexed, searched, secured and played back on nearly any device from desktops and tablets to smartphones. Stand: 3-A122

The conferencing and boardroom environment is a big focus for COMM-TEC at ISE 2014.
