NEWS Speakers on show APART AUDIO

Apart Audio is showing two new loudspeakers. The VINC14-BL/ VINC14-W is a 6-ohm hi-fi bookshelf loudspeaker with a wooden bass reflex housing, 4in coated paper cone woofer and ¾in silk dome tweeter. The CM6TSMF is a 6.5in all-metal powder-coated built-in loudspeaker with a safety metal dome. Fireproof, it has a quick-fit metal mounting system with a 100% air-tight back-can, meaning that it can maintain the air separation between above and below the ceiling material –

a feature often requested, notes the company, by fire safety officers.

Also on show is a complete

new range of power amplifiers. The REVAMP series – which comprises five products – has been designed with as few front controls as possible together with pre-defined settings which, says the company, makes an installation tamper-proof and hassle-free. The REVAMP2250 is a 2- channel digital power amplifier (Hypex-powered) with 2 x 250W output @ 4 ohms, but is also bridgeable to 1 x 500W @ 8

ohms. The REVAMP2600 is also a 2-channel amplifier and features 2 x 600W output @ 4 ohms. Providing 16 channels of 80W (bridgeable to 8 x 160W) is the REVAMP1680. Also Hypex- powered is the REVAMP120T with 4 x 120W output at 100V or 4 ohms, bridgeable to 2 x 240W. The final member of the family is the REVAMP4240T with four channels of 240W output or two of 480W.

Projector lifts from compact to heavy duty

SCREENINT

Perhaps better known for its frame and electric projection screens, Screenint also specialises in motorised projector and monitor lifts, and these are being highlighted on the company’s ISE 2014 stand. Screenint’s projector lifts range

from a compact model (SI-30) to a large venue lift that can carry up to 70kg with a maximum drop of 5m (SI-H 500). According to the company, its most popular models are the SI-30, SI-100, SI-200 and SI-H 100, which can take loads up to 25kg and feature drops of up to 2m. All models include a cable gathering system with a raceway for projector cables so that they are hidden and tidily gathered together when the projector lift ascends. Screenint projector lifts are supplied with extendable side

brackets in order to allow easy fixing to a false ceiling using adjustable threaded bars. The company’s heavy-duty lifts

are the SI-H 300 with a 300cm stroke and SI-H 500 with a 500cm stroke. Both are provided with a built-in safety device that prevents descent of the structure in the event of accidental failure of the mechanism, and a cable management system. The maximum load of which these lifts are capable is 70kg. Screenint’s offering for monitor lifting is the S-ML 23, which provides a solution for the mounting and storage of the most commonly used flat panel monitors with screen sizes from 15in to 23in. The S-ML 23 also possesses a stainless steel bezel with a swing door that disappears inside the housing as the monitor is lifted up. Stand: 1-N120

The Screenint SI-H 300 projector lift can take loads of up to 70kg

Production Studio 4K includes 10 independent 6G-SDI inputs each with frame sync, built-in DVE with zoom, scale and rotate, four upstream chroma keyers, three independent aux outputs with front panel control, and a larger media pool that holds both still frame graphics and motion video clips. ATEM 1 M/E Production Studio 4K lets customers work and master to Ultra HD when used with the HyperDeck Studio Pro, which has Ultra HD and

6G-SDI support. This allows events to be captured in the television format of the future and is ideal for live music events, sporting events, theatre productions, programme production and conferences. There is also a high-definition down-converted HD-SDI programme output for when the switcher is operating in Ultra HD formats, but a regular HD programme feed is required. The HyperDeck Studio 2 and HyperDeck Studio Pro 2 both include an attractive new front panel design and built-in power supply. Meanwhile, the latest software update for the HyperDeck Studio range has added support for a number of new file formats. Also on the stand are three

Ultra HD 4K MiniConverters. Stand: 3-A134
