his autumn sees leading UK business super-brand, Pitman Training, launch its new, free app which is being showcased across the country, as part of


#PitmanOnTour, a national marketing campaign to support the efforts of each of its franchised partners, in their bid to ‘Train the Nation’. The app, Career MOT, is based on the psychometric profiling theory of the Myers- Briggs Type Indicator, generating a host of careers, skills and personal development results. Relating an MOT-themed approach to reviewing your career, the app is designed to get the public thinking about how they can drive their futures forward – get the job of their dreams, the promotion they have been seeking, or take a change of path and find true job satisfaction, which is what Pitman Training offers as a business. Recent survey results have shown that 27 per cent of young people in work feel depressed ‘always’ or ‘often’. Only 8 per cent feel they’re in their dream job with over 42 per cent wasting up to four hours a week dreaming of what they could be doing instead.
