Home Instead Senior Care named England’s top homecare provider
n Home Instead Senior Care, a management franchise company providing care services to older people to help them remain living in their own homes, has topped a list of England’s homecare providers in a new Care Compliance Monitor report from healthcare information specialist Laing & Buisson. Of the inspected branches
that are fully compliant with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) core standards covering care, safeguarding, staffing, management and respect for service users, Home Instead – which was also named earlier this year as the bfa HSBC Franchisor of the Year 2013 – scored 97.8 per cent and achieved the number one spot by some distance. Commenting on their performance, Home Instead’s CEO Trevor Brocklebank said: “It is gratifying to see this recognised by a leading industry organisation in this analysis of CQC performance.
“Our number one position bears testament to the
dedication, commitment and hard work of our franchise owners and their care teams across the country who strive on a daily basis to improve the lives of the elderly, assisting us to achieve our mission of changing the face of ageing. This latest accolade confirms that we are well on our way to becoming the UK’s most admired care company.” They received the title from the
bfa director general Brian Smart and HSBC’s Cathryn Hayes.
