he care sector is one of the fastest growing in the UK at present and as such represents a tremendous opportunity for the right individuals. The Care Quality


Commission’s (CQC) report, ‘Not Just a Number’, states: “The provision of home care services has grown significantly over the past few years. The number of home care services registered with the CQC increased by 16 per cent in 2011/12, and a further 6 per cent in the first six months of 2012/13.”


Graham Parker and Paula Wilson-Parker, who founded Availl in Cambridge in 2007, recognised this ongoing growth. Graham comments: “Our vision for Availl isn’t to be

is required; more important is being a self-starter who will invest the necessary time to build the business and become the face of Availl in the local area. Where the franchisee has no prior experience of the care sector, assistance will be provided with the recruitment of a registered manager to work in the business. The total cost is £28,750+vat plus working capital, which includes a 10- day training package, on-site support, marketing launch campaign, IT package and much more. n
