Tapping into the biggest buzz in business technology, cloud computing, the Trend Group has now launched its own Granite Transformations/ Trend CloudPro application, which will streamline communication between the 26 different countries where the group operates and hundreds of individual Granite Transformations franchisees. “We’re still getting to grips with CloudPro, but once it’s loaded onto the tablets of our management team, our franchise owners and their salespeople, it will actively push current information on products, installations, technical specifications and fabrication techniques to users every day,” says Danny. “Employing the efficient storage technology of cloud computing, it will hold videos, presentations, TV footage, before and after images from around the world, electronic brochures and PR stories for our salespeople to call upon at will. If there’s a new colour, a new mosaic design or a newly-developed material, they’ll know about it first.”
