MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY
Carlo Salvi World - Carlo Salvi people
At Carlo Salvi the signing of a contract is not the end of a negotiation but the beginning of a relationship - the cooperation between Carlo Salvi and its customers. Carlo Salvi underlines that when a customer buys one of its machines they not only buy a machine, but also the ability to receive one of the best after-sales and original spare parts service available.
O
n Carlo Salvi’s shelves customers will find standard spare parts for headers manufactured as far back as
the 1970s thus demonstrating that the relationship that ties Carlo Salvi and its customers is long lasting. All headers are developed and built in the workshops of Salvi’s Garlate premises in Italy and shipped to the customer’s destination. Even when machines are delivered to the other side of the world, Carlo Salvi people will not be far away as it has four dedicated branches around the world, plus its network of agents, to support its prestigious brand. Carlo Salvi’s US branch - Carlo Salvi
USA - is located in Toledo, Ohio, and was founded in the late 1990s. Since the beginning, this office has been managed by Mr Tony Macaro who will soon be assisted by a dedicated technician due to the demand for after sales service and refurbishing that has been continuously growing. The Carlo Salvi (Guangzhou) Machinery and Equipment Ltd branch was established
at the beginning of 2011, in the flourishing Guangdong Province, China. The office is managed by Italian General Manager Mr Max Bertotti, while the sales and the after sale service is completely in Chinese hands. Both the sales manager and the technician (who was trained in Italy) speak Chinese. The results from the US and Chinese
markets have been so positive that President Dr Sergio Ziotti, decided to widen ‘Carlo Salvi World’ and to open a further two branches. At the end of last year the company founded Carlo Salvi UK Ltd, based in Telford, which has been fully operative since 1st
April 2013. The office
and annexed small stock will be directed by Mr Kevin Blenkiron, who has been connected with Carlo Salvi S.p.A. for over 25 years and is now an integral part of the workforce. Kevin Blenkiron is ready to put his knowledge and experience at the complete disposal of the markets in the UK and Ireland. Last, but not least, Carlo Salvi has also
recently opened Carlo Salvi Istanbul Ltd, located in the commercial side of the
Turkish capital. The contact person for this branch is Mr Fevzican Abaciouglu, of the Abaciouglu family, well known in the field of heading and related processes within the Turkish market. Although located in different countries,
Carlo Salvi has an integrated network with the same characteristics. All its staff are well trained and ready to answer directly to customer enquiries or, as an alternative, customers can liaise with the main offices in Italy. A small but well-stocked spare parts warehouse, comprising key spare components, is also available for non-standard parts shipment from Italy within 24 hours. “Around the world, each customer
can choose to contact the nearest Carlo Salvi branch and potential new customers can contact people who speak their own language and understand local requirements. Now it is even easier to become a Carlo Salvi customer and benefit from our growing network. All our people from Carlo Salvi World are ready to assist with whatever you require, for more detailed information please contact us.”
