users who need to work with more tools simultaneously and those who need to make repetitive jobs, for example, where the use of the pedal results in better management of work and effort by the operator. RIV938 is a hydropneumatic tool for Rivsert female rivet nuts from M3 - M10

says it has found a riveting solution for situations where not enough room is available to operate standard setting tools.

ESIPA has designed angular heads especially for use in tight spaces where a minimum possible edge clearance is no more than 12mm with a total head length of 90mm. The robust design of the angular heads allows users to apply setting forces of up to 20Kn when fitting blind rivets in work areas that are difficult to access. The angular head can be freely fixed anywhere (360°) along the TAURUS®

GESIPA says that both the angular head 90° compact for TAURUS®

tensile axis, providing additional room for working in areas where space is limited. 1 and 2 and the angular head 90° TAURUS®

1 - 4 are

characterised by compact and robust design and simple jaw maintenance if need arises. Minimum vibration allows fatigue-free handling by the operator even with high breaking forces, and the integrated pressure relief valve protects the tool against overload and against damage during periods of heavy use. The angular head 90° for TAURUS®

1 - 4 has been designed to set all material types of blind rivets up to 6.4mm in diameter. Its head length is 110mm and needs an edge clearance of only 15mm. The angular head 90° compact for TAURUS® 1 and 2 can be

used to set all material types of blind rivets up to 5mm in diameter and aluminium blind rivets up to 6mm in diameter. Its total length amounts to 90mm with a required edge clearance of only 12mm.

Rivit Srl manufactures and distributes a comprehensive range of fasteners and tools including its RIV938, which it says is one of the top models in its range of fastening tools.

ivit explains that the new RIV938CP version represents the evolution of this tool for rivet nuts. The RIV938CP is

and Rivbolt male rivet nuts from M4 - M8. The main features of the RIV938 include a one-position trigger mechanism, oil pressure adjustment, no adjustment needed when thicknesses change, no damage to mandrel (or tie rod) caused when the operation is repeated, and low weight and small overall dimensions for a great handiness.

Bralo’s new models

A manufacturer and distributor of blind rivets, insert nuts and riveting tools, Bralo has added two new models, BET-1 and BET-2 to its wide range.

B

ralo says its new BET range is highly portable and able to execute the highest technical performance that meets the most demanding applications. The BET-1 and BET-2 are solid yet lightweight tools, which are appropriate for maintenance and assembly works both in and outdoors. Bralo outlines that the main advantages of the new range include a well balanced design for best

usage, minimal effort needed when pulling the trigger, the mandrel collector is easily dismantled which contributes to the cleanliness and safety of the working area, ergonomic handles that facilitate the riveting process, handle rings which enable the tool to be hooked onto production lines, a battery life indicator, and a powerful lithium-ion battery. BET-1 has the riveting capacity from 2.4mm to 5mm in all materials. The BET-2 is designed for heavy duty rivets such as

structural, hardgrip, hardlock and s-trebol rivets. Bralo states that both models cover all the fastener needs with blind rivets. The BET-1 battery tool is supplied with a solid and durable carry case complete with battery charger and is available with one or two 1.4 Ah batteries and Bralo can also provide a supplementary 2.8 Ah battery. Both tools will be available from June 2013.
