The second edition of Fastener Fair India closed its doors after two days of busy aisles, demonstrations and business meetings.
industrial fasteners and fixings, assembly and installation systems, and fastener manufacturing technology to the distributors, suppliers and end-users in the Indian market. More than 130 exhibitors filled the Fastener Fair

aisles with India and other Asian countries, such as Taiwan and China, representing the majority of exhibitors at the show. There were also several exhibitors from Germany and Italy. Whilst most stands were predominately ‘shell-scheme’ there were some very impressive ‘space-only’ stands. Kadimi International Pvt Ltd and Agarwal Fasteners Pvt Ltd dominated the front of the hall with two imposing stands. On the Kadimi International stand was a Chun Zu machine (Kadimi International is Chun Zu’s business partner in India), which received a lot of interest across the two days. Other striking stands included Faco Fasteners Pvt
Ltd, Mitter Fasteners and Deepak Fasteners Ltd, with the latter using Fastener Fair India as an opportunity to meet up with customers in one location. During the show Deepak carried out several demonstrations on a VibrationMaster J100 portable Junker Test bench demonstrator to highlight the importance of quality and how quickly inadequate fasteners can fail. “We are satisfied with the customers we have had to our stand,” reported Sanjeev Kalra, managing director at Deepak Fasteners Ltd. “However, compared to the previous show in 2011 it seems to be quieter, with less end-user visitors than before.” Heads & All Threads Pvt Ltd was another stand that
drew a lot of attention from visitors, especially when a fish tank on display was accidentally smashed on the first day. Thankfully no fish were harmed and the company was pleased with how the show went. “The show has been good with at least half a dozen good quality leads that if converted would make the show worthwhile,” commented Steve Ward, group sales director at Heads & All Threads. “We have been in the Indian market for 2.5 years and we are now starting to see the benefits of having a dedicated premise in India.” Dörken MKS-Systeme used Fastener Fair India as an opportunity to promote the Dörken brand and create awareness of the wide range of approved products. “It has been a good show, with lots of customers to our
