push on fasteners, approximately five years ago, both Paul Watkins-Burke and Ian Styles have become key members of the Baker & Finnemore team.
After joining Baker & Finnemore, the manufacturer and major stockholder of Starlock®
S L
tarting as purchasing manager, Paul Watkins-Burke has since been promoted to operations manager to more accurately reflect the wide range of tasks he has taken on board. Paul’s responsibilities include purchasing, IT, production planning and general site management. Since being at the
company he has immersed himself in almost all processes at Baker & Finnemore and successfully reduced costs, improved productivity and visibility to the production process, as well as upgrading Baker & Finnemore’s computer systems. Ian Styles joined the company as a young enthusiastic sales clerk with ambition. Having only two years’ previous experience in a sales position, Ian worked hard to learn Baker & Finnemore’s extensive product range and the production process, as well as the importance of customer service. Now promoted to sales manager, Ian runs the department with a customer-orientated attitude, and continues to gain experience and a disciplined knowledge of all business aspects by furthering his education to degree level.
