A bigger and better catalogue Unifix’s new 84 page catalogue features existing market

leading favourites including pipe clips and an expansive range of cable clips by Kliplok; the Vortex multi-purpose power screw; and Thunderbolt – the original self-tapping anchor bolt for concrete, wood, metal and stone. Andrew Lowrie, sales operations director, explains: “Unifix

has a long history of introducing innovative products that become best-sellers, and these must-have products remain key to the brand. However, it was also very important to us to invest in new products as part of the relaunch of Unifix, in order to offer its customers the very best choice, service and price.” Andrew added: “Among the 1,500 products in the new

catalogue are 120 items new to Unifix, complementing the existing big names like Thunderbolt and offering the same quality and value for money that customers have come to expect from the company.” Among the new products available is the full range of Draper

hand tools, offering everything from pliers and spanners to hand ratchet drivers and knife sets, along with a selection of more than 40 abrasives and ancillary products. Andrew continues: “Throughout the process of bringing the

Unifix range up to date, we’ve focused on providing convenience and quality. To simplify the ordering process we’ve made many of our general purpose fasteners and fixings available as either individual products or combined in handy packs and kits, saving time when ordering and at the point of use.”

‘Loads more’ online The new improved Unifix website has been designed with ease of use at front of mind. Andrew explains: “We know that our customers often require products at short notice, from replacing worn out tools to making emergency repairs, which is why we offer 24-hour delivery. The next logical step was to create a clean and easy to navigate website which enables customers to locate the products they need within minutes, and the new site does just that.” The user-friendly website displays products in the same sections as the printed catalogue for continuity and simplicity, with clear subsections for every range from nuts and bolts to personal protective equipment (PPE) and workwear. Each category includes a list of the most popular products to help customers find best sellers more easily, while searches can be refined by price, size and product type to help locate the ideal product for the job.

“For the first time Unifix is offering bathroom kits and an

expanded range of plumbing supplies, so the new website has allowed us to highlight our enhanced capabilities as well as making our core products easy to find,” says Andrew. “Additionally, we have organised our inventory by product range and by brand, allowing customers to browse according to product type or, if they prefer, filter their search to include only their preferred brand.” To place their orders, customers can use the phone number or email address displayed prominently on each page to order directly from Unifix and take advantage of the 24-hour delivery option, or alternatively the site provides a comprehensive list of suppliers and stockists to help users find their most local source for Unifix products through a straightforward search function. Andrew concludes: “Hexstone’s investment in Unifix has

been customer-focused from the outset. We wanted to keep our focus on the brand’s best-known products while diversifying with new offerings in order to create a convenient ‘one stop shop’. The launch of our new catalogue and website gives customers the flexibility to access our portfolio in the way that suits them, and also demonstrates the breadth, quality and value offered by our new look brand.”
