Effective teamwork depends on good communication because all the group’s tasks depend on reaching agreement around the overall outcome for the project, the work each team member must do and the task analysis. Each member needs to know how to brainstorm and organise their ideas and share their ideas with the others. Tey need to listen actively and question effectively. If this does not happen, it will be difficult to reach decisions where everyone has contributed and where decisions are taken by the group and not just a few individuals.
