Sunday Ski Bus is Back in February

W

ith La Niña on the way, it’s time to hit the slopes with MAC’s Sunday ski program in February 2012. February is a great month to ski or snowboard at Mt. Hood Meadows, with a virtual guarantee of snow on the mountain and sunshine overhead. The kids love the Sunday program because it’s less crowded on the slopes this time of year. The program runs four consecutive weeks; Feb. 5, 12, 19, 26.

The Sunday ski program offers some- thing for everyone in the family and a variety of options are available to choose from for kids and adults. Bus transporta- tion is offered, making the ride up to the mountain relaxing for everyone. The Sno-Blaster Program is designed for children in first through eighth grades (no exceptions) and is an all-day supervised program. This is a terrific program for kids and a good way to improve at skiing or snowboarding quickly. In this program, your child is supervised at all times; by the Mt. Hood Meadows ski instructor during lessons, and the MAC chaperones during lunch. Lessons are scheduled twice a day for two hours in the morning and two hours in the afternoon. The skiers provide their own lunch (they are encouraged to bring backpacks).

Chaperoned bus transportation is offered to all club members and their guests. The bus to Mt. Hood Meadows loads at MAC at 6:30 a.m. and promptly leaves the club between 6:45-7 a.m. The bus returns to the Turnaround at approxi- mately 5:30 p.m.

Prices vary for the different programs. Bus, lift and lesson options are available for all age groups. To sign-up: • Go to www.skihood.com/go • Enter the MAC group’s GOCode –
