Models have been working the runway at the MAC Holiday Fashion Show for decades. This year, a few members show off some of the year’s designers ahead of time, with MAC as the backdrop.
his year’s runway for the Holiday Fashion Show is full of energy and spirit, featuring a designer who captured Portland Fashion Week’s Emerging Designer in 2010, an American classic brand founded in 1818 and more.

The Culture and Style Committee presents the 2011 Holiday Fashion Show on Tuesday, Dec. 6 and Wednesday, Dec. 7. The spotlight is on entertain- ment, fashion and the holiday tradition of friends.
The Holiday Fashion Show features:
• Brooks Brothers – The brand is an institu- tion that has shaped the American style of dress through fashion innovation, fine quality, personal service and exceptional value in their products.
• Mabel & Zora – The Portland-based ladies boutique represents retro and glam. They take pride in having something for everyone and the owner features original designs.
• Ms. Wood – Alicia and Ben Wood are the dynamic husband and wife duo behind Ms. Wood. With the launch of their first collection together they won Best Emerging Designer of 2010 at Portland Fashion Week. Their line is kimono- inspired, with sophisticated and edgy separates, and also includes evening wear.
• Pendleton – This Oregon original has been weaving America’s spirit since 1909. They offer a unique heritage of fine apparel and world-class fabrics still woven in American mills.
• Sophie Chang Collection – The designs are sleek and modern with inspiration drawn from global architecture. The luxurious gown designs are created with a woman’s body in mind, giving the perfect shape.
