Older visitors will appreciate the peace and tranquility of this riverside village and young visitors will enjoy the thrill of crabbing from the pontoon. The house is comfortably furnished and has underfloor heating throughout. As well as a sitting out area on the quayside there is a private garden at the back with a studio and river views.


Accommodation: A small entrance porch opens into a large tiled entrance hall/sitting room with sofa, washing


machine/tumble dryer. Large fully tiled wet room with shower, WC and basin. Stairs up to the first floor where there are 3 bedrooms, a 5ft double at the front with river views and a 4'6" double and a twin at the back of the cottage. Fully tiled bathroom with bath - shower over, WC and basin. On the second floor is a very well furnished large sitting room with panoramic river views, wood burning stove, comfy sofas, freesat TV with DVD, CD player and oak flooring. The kitchen/diner has oak units and granite tops, range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, American style fridge/freezer and tiled floor, large dining table and chairs. This is a spacious house ideal for 2 couples or a family. Children will love the close proximity to the river for crabbing from the pontoon and playing on the Ham. This lovely location, close to the village amenities and river combined with two cosy open fires make this an ideal property for out of season bookings. The house is set over three floors and has been lovingly restored and modernised retaining the original fire places and stripped pine doors.
