This is a very special place for wildlife enthusiasts with the well known Slapton Ley close by but also a large fresh water lake belonging to the farm which attracts a great variety of water birds including the rare Cirl Bunting. Anglers with their own licence are permitted to fish here. There is a wonderful selection of sandy coves just a short distance away and when you’ve finished bird watching, fishing, exploring or swimming by day you may be lucky enough to catch the local badgers at play in this lovely valley in the evening.
