Price band PP · Sleeps 6 Below Decks is a spacious, stylish apartment situated on the edge of Kingswear overlooking Waterhead Creek, the river Dart and Dartmouth. Within walking distance to the passenger and car ferries across to Dartmouth, with a fabulous variety of places to eat and a good selection of individual lifestyle shops and galleries. Kingswear village has a choice of pubs and an excellent village shop. From here there are good public transport links either by bus, boat or the heritage steam railway. The National Trust properties of Greenway House and Coleton Fishacre are close by and for walkers can be reached by the coast path or the Dart Valley Trail. The closest sandy beaches within a short drive are Broadsands and Goodrington.


Accommodation: Below Decks is accessed via a flight of steps from the roadside down to the patio which runs along the length of the property. The entrance leads into the conservatory with river and woodland views,


furnished with table and chairs. Doorway into the sitting room with comfy furniture and side tables, TV with DVD and video (extensive collection of videos and DVDs), CD radio with ipod docking station, feature fireplace with electric fire. Arched entrance from the sitting room into the kitchen diner which has beech units and integrated fridge/freezer, dish washer, washer/dryer, electric oven and halogen hob and microwave. Dining table and chairs. Master bedroom with a kingsize bed, two large arched windows and an en suite shower room with large shower cubicle, basin and WC, heated towel rail. Double bedroom with 4’6” bed and a third bedroom with twin beds. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes and attractive plantation shutters. The family bathroom is fully tiled and has a shower over the bath, WC and basin and heated towel rail. Outside accessed from the conservatory there is a large sun terrace with terracotta tiles and garden furniture and lovely river views. From here there is a spiral staircase to the elevated parking space. There is an enclosed garden with lawn and shrubbery reached by a flight of steps from the patio.

Price band E · Sleeps 3 Shipwrights is a treasured little cottage in the centre of Kingswear and has recently undergone a complete refurbishment, the cottage enjoys lovely views across the marina and River Dart over to Dartmouth and the Britannia Royal Naval College. An ideal base to explore the area from, with the Dart Valley Railway and the South West Coastal Footpath almost on your doorstep, the beaches of Torbay and the South Hams are close by. Kingswear has a village shop and post office, pubs and a restaurant while Dartmouth is just a short ferry ride away.
