Devon sun and enjoy! Pack a picnic of local goodies and pick any stretch of the coastline for a hike or a gentle stroll to enjoy
spectacular, uninterrupted views of South Devon and Start Bay. Play 'I Spy' for secluded beaches and sleepy villages to explore another
day. See where rocks seem to have tumbled down to the sea and walk through grassy meadows on the cliff tops where sheep and cattle graze. Watch the boats with their colourful sails leaving silver trails in their wake out in the Bay and gaze at the shadows on the water - from clouds above or rocks below? Listen to the hedges buzzing with insects, interrupted by the whistle of the steam train on a calm day - but beware, as soon as you see white water you know there's a change in the weather coming and it may be time to head back for a calorific cream tea! Enjoy locally caught fish, Start Bay crab, homemade ice cream and
wine produced on the slopes of the Dart Valley. Have a scrumptious gourmet evening meal at one of our well renowned restaurants or take these ingredients home. You will be forced to relax into a slower pace of life here - we don't
have fast roads or motorways, just pretty country lanes, quite often with grass growing in the middle. Don't forget your camera or sketch book - you will take wonderful pictures home with you.
