The rooms are light and quirky with odd corner angles, lending an extra charm. There is a fully equipped kitchen and oil fired central heating for all year round comfort. The sitting room has long windows looking out onto the thirteenth Century church and village. The river, shop, church, Ferryboat Inn and Red Lion pub are all within walking distance.

A very well equipped kitchen offers electric hob and oven, fridge with icebox, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. Cloakroom with WC and handbasin. Downstairs to a double bedroom with pine bedstead and pine furniture. The second bedroom with single bed (a further single bed pulls out from under) and pine furniture. The cottage provides the perfect combination of old character cottage with modern comforts and is offered for holidays when the owner is away.


Accommodation: Entrance is through a stable door and porch to the sitting room which has a tiled floor covered with oriental rugs and a woodburning stove in the large inglenook fireplace. TV, DVD, video and music

Doors open out from the bedroom onto a decked patio at the rear of the house with barbeque, table and chairs. Bathroom with WC, basin and shower. Four stairs lead down to children’s bunk room with river views and three bunks (take care – top bunk is about 7ft from the floor). Further double room with views of the river. Back door from kitchen leads to steep cobbled steps up to patio area (steps not suitable for the infirm or for small children). At the front of the cottage over-looking the river is a seating area with garden table and chairs.
