Hawke offers guests the perfect, weatherproof English holiday. Situated within the grounds of the prestigious Dartmouth Golf and Country Club. Yet, only 4 miles from Dartmouth, within close proximity of Salcombe and Totnes, near to an outstanding picturesque coastline, fantastic beaches, the unspoilt wilds of Dartmoor National Park, and Woodlands Leisure Park only half a mile away. Just a 15 minute drive takes you to the nearest beach, the award winning Blackpool Sands. The golf course offers two exceptional courses; the 18 hole Championship course was selected by “Golf Monthly” as one of the top 80 golf courses in Great Britain and Ireland. For your use are also, Lakeside Health and Leisure Club, a tennis court, bar and bistro. Guests of Hawke have free use of the Leisure Club’s indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room. They also have free use of the tennis court and up to 50% off green fees for up to 2 guests. Hawke is a sympathetically restored, fully thatched stone cottage. It nestles between two properties and has recently been completely renovated and refurbished to an extremely high standard. The rear of the property affords magnificent views of the golf course and surrounding countryside.

The Terrace Suite
Price band G · Sleeps 4 Sheplegh Court is a historic country house now divided into quality apartments, set in 30 acres of wooded parkland within a secluded valley, only a 15 minute drive from Totnes, Dartmouth and the beaches at Slapton and Blackpool Sands. The superb facilities on offer include a heated outdoor swimming pool (May-mid Sept), an all weather tennis court, conservatory, a small indoor heated pool, sauna and a full size snooker table.
Accommodation: The Terrace Suite is situated on the ground floor of the main building. Entry is through the
impressive doorway and along the corridor to Flat 3. The lounge/diner has a comfy, modern sofa unit with foot stool; matching tub chair; small extendable oak dining table and chairs; TV with DVD and free to air; telephone for incoming calls only; broadband; side tables; book case. Single French door opens out onto a small patio area with stunning views down the valley to the open countryside beyond. Furniture is provided for alfresco dining. The all white kitchen has tiled floor; dishwasher; microwave; fridge; induction hob; new electric oven. There are two bedrooms with views of the grounds; a double bedroom with newly refurbished en- suite shower room with WC and basin and a twin bedroom. The recently refurbished family bathroom has a bath with hand held shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail. Babies and older children welcome – unsuitable for small children because of a large flight of stone steps from the patio, deep ponds and swimming pool in the grounds. There are a number of games provided for wet days and evenings in along with paperbacks of various genres.
