Ropewalk Cottage
Price band G · Sleeps 4 · Children welcome Ropewalk Cottage is situated on Lake Street in the heart of Dartmouth. This is a very quiet residential street, two minutes level walk to the river Dart, the lovely selection of individual shops and galleries, and the wealth of good restaurants for which Dartmouth is so well known. This cosy cottage is very comfortably furnished and retains a lot of its old charm and original features, including stripped pine doors.
Although the cottage does not have private parking guests can pull up on the road outside and a car parking pass for the Mayors Avenue Car Park (situated two minutes walk away) is provided from April to the end of September.
Accommodation: There are a few steps up to the front door, which leads into an open plan living
room/kitchen with a comfy sofa and armchair,
occasional tables, TV, DVD, CD player/radio and ipod docking station. There is a fold away dining table and chairs. The well equipped fully fitted kitchen has white units, an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and is divided from the lounge by a breakfast bar with stools. The stair case leads up from the living room. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one has a double bed with TV, and the second bedroom is a small twin bedded room. The bathroom has a bath with electric shower over, basin and WC. From the landing there is a door to a small secluded decked patio area with a bistro table and chairs.

Price band F · Sleeps 2 Beacon Parks Cottage, is a newly completed barn conversion set in glorious countryside overlooking Dartmouth, Britannia Royal Naval College and the river Dart, with 10 acres of grounds to be enjoyed with this breathtaking view. A spectacular vantage point for the air displays during Dartmouth’s annual Regatta. The cottage provides superior accommodation for two guests seeking a peaceful location and Dartmouth is just a 15 minute walk over the hill or a few minutes by car. Dartmouth is exceedingly well known for its superb choice of restaurants including Angelique and the Seahorse, fabulous galleries and lifestyle shopping. From the quay side river cruises are available to Greenway (Agatha Christie’s former holiday home) and the lively market town of Totnes. The area offers a wide range of days out including wine and cheese tasting at award winning Sharpham vineyard and wonderful countryside for walking, particularly the South West Coast path.

Accommodation: The cottage is within the grounds of the owner’s house. The ground floor has a fitted kitchen with electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge with ice box, dishwasher and microwave oven, dining table and chairs. There
are patio doors opening onto the courtyard. Bathroom with bath, electric shower over, WC and basin. Stairs lead up to the bedroom with sitting area, this is most attractive with a beamed, vaulted ceiling and Juliet balcony, super king sized bed (zip and link, that can be 2 singles on request), two easy chairs, coffee table and television with Freeview. Outside guests share the spacious paved courtyard and have use of table, chairs and sun loungers.
