Today, he is enjoying a completely new way of life – running his own business helping publicans and other licensees get the best out of their beer while reducing waste.

franchise in Northampton, bringing the highly successful cleaning service to the area’s licensed premises. The Clear Brew system enables


licensees to arrange for cleaning services to be carried out on their cellar system every three weeks instead of once a week – helping to avoid waste that often occurs during a clean, while still ensuring pipes and pumps remain in top condition. The new role is a completely different


way of working for Mark, taking him to pubs, bars, nightclubs, social clubs, sports clubs, hotels, cinemas, bingo halls and more to clean kegs and cask lines.

It’s a long way from the three decades he spent working in IT – 20 of those in IT procurement – for various companies, including GKN, IMI, RS Components and Herbert Smith Freehills.


He had reached a point in 2013 where he wanted to explore “fresh and exciting”

Keen for fresh and exciting prospects that allowed him to be a business owner, he sought out new opportunities in the franchise marketplace. franchise was the way forward,” he says. “I was eager to use my knowledge to develop my own business. The opportunity to launch a Clear Brew franchise in Northampton seemed a perfect way forward.” Now at the helm of his own beer line cleaning franchise, Clear Brew Northampton, Mark is ready to get started with a new chapter. He confirms: “I’m looking forward to offering a quality service and growing the business.” l
