Joining FASTSIGNS, an established brand with a global presence, can help you make an immediate impact
M
any people have the desire to start a business but can be held back by the fear of the
unknown, often asking questions like “will I be good enough?” or “do I have the right experience?”. “FASTSIGNS has been enabling people
to successfully grow their own businesses since 1985,” explains John Davies, managing director of FASTSIGNS UK. “We now have over 700 franchisees operating our business model in nine countries.” FASTSIGNS has a proven history of helping franchisees achieve their business ownership aspirations, regardless of their previous career experience.
"FASTSIGNS’ training is varied and consistent, including two weeks at the head office in Dallas, Texas"
“Over the years, we have refined our
systems and training to ensure our franchisees are able to create high- quality, high-impact signage solutions for customers, including anything from digital signage, banners and building signs to vehicle graphics, window, wall, door and floor graphics, and more.” Here are three essential elements of
FASTSIGNS’ commitment to helping franchisees make an impact:
1. An impactful leader FASTSIGNS CEO Catherine Monson is a passionate advocate of franchising. Catherine has a clear vision – one that has franchisee satisfaction at its heart by providing the network with the tools to be customer-centric, as well as being aware of and able to deliver on-trend signage.

2. Delivering impactful training FASTSIGNS’ training programmes are varied and consistent, from the initial two-week residential foundation training course, delivered at FASTSIGNS’ head office in Dallas, Texas, to the in-centre training with UK-based business consultants and annual visits from US- based signage experts. Training can also be accessed via the 24/7 online learning portal and the newest training addition, app-based gamification.
3. An impactful network Every year, franchisees have the option to attend the company’s international convention, as well as the UK annual conference. These events are ideal for the network to share best practice, where new franchisees can access a wealth of experience and advice. The events are also great opportunities for franchisees to be inspired by seeing examples of signage solutions other FASTSIGNS centres have delivered to their customers. At the 2018 UK convention, FASTSIGNS Hammersmith was recognised for its comprehensive project delivered to
car rental company Sixt. John says: “This project was the epitome of what FASTSIGNS can offer customers; Sixt were looking to create a uniform and impactful look – they needed signs to be used in their locations, which could be anything from multi-storey car parks to an airport car rental booth.” FASTSIGNS Hammersmith was able
to deliver graphics at over 70 locations, including weather-resistant wall graphics, vinyl-wrapped displays, free-standing and overhead signs, stencilled bay parking indicators, and a 8x15 metre banner on the roof of Sixt’s building at Heathrow.
