Join the Creams Cafe dream franchise team and get your slice of the fast-growing industry

INVESTMENT LEVEL: FROM £250,000

veryone loves dessert. So, if you’re looking to invest in a fun, vibrant business in a fast-moving, lucrative sector, Creams Cafe is a smart choice.

And, with its proven franchise model, the return on investment is just under three years! There’s an ever-growing bunch of dessert businesses out there, but with 55 restaurants already trading and a further 50 currently being built, Creams is fi rmly established as the leading brand in the UK. The Creams story began in 2008. The

fi rst restaurant opened after the founding partners had meticulously researched and sourced special ingredients. Since then, the brand has grown from strength to strength and, as well as the 55 restaurants, it has a factory where Creams’ own gelato is made using authentic Italian ingredients. The ambition is to develop the franchise quickly by opening a further 300 outlets throughout the UK. The Creams franchise is growing fast but

there are still plenty of territories available for investors. A typical Creams restaurant is 2,000 square feet and ideally located in a high-footfall destination close to other restaurants and cinemas. Creams targets traditional high-street locations, as well as out-of town retail and leisure parks. Its experienced property team can help you acquire your site and negotiate the terms of the lease.

The initial franchise fee of £15,000 covers full training, use of the brand name and operational manuals. Additional costs include restaurant design, equipment, signage, fi t out, business planning and property legals.

At the helm of the Creams franchise is head of business development Chris Palmer. With a wealth of experience in the restaurant and retail industry, including John Lewis and Harry Ramsden’s, he believes there’s huge potential in Creams and is proud to be a part of it. Because the business believes that its success starts with yours, Creams gives franchisees some of the industry’s best training and support – from your fi rst enquiry right through to opening and beyond. When you become a Creams

franchisee you receive two weeks of full training onsite before your restaurant opens, with ongoing support from Creams’ head offi ce. A team of regional business managers helps you to optimise sales and profi tability while maintaining high standards of quality, service and cleanliness. Each member of this team has excellent knowledge of the restaurant and franchise industry; they will work closely with you to ensure you succeed. What’s more, Creams has a centralised supply chain ensuring 100 per cent of food and drink is delivered from one supplier. This system ensures that quality and consistency of brand standards, as well as the best price, are maintained in all Creams restaurants. Products are ordered through a bespoke electronic point of sale till system, which is very user-friendly. Creams stays at the forefront of the industry by frequently refreshing its menu and innovating design-wise. Creams’ in-house designers guarantee that each store looks the part and evolves consistently with the brand. With Creams’ buying power you can also be sure of securing the best price on the equipment required for a restaurant. Currently, Creams has 35 franchisees

in its estate – some with multiple cafés. Harvey Mann, Creams’ most prolifi c franchisee, already has six restaurants across Essex and Hertfordshire. Flexibility in its investor model allows

Creams’ franchisees to either invest only, if they have other business ventures, or to have hands-on responsibility for the day- to-day running of the restaurant. You can choose whatever suits your lifestyle. The restaurants themselves are a feast for the eyes: dramatic interiors full of eyecatching features. And, of course, there’s a theatrical element to the desserts being prepared with expert fi nesse. The beauty of the Creams concept is that it appeals to all ages and cultures. So, if you want to taste sweet success

through a franchise investment, Creams is a sugar-coated opportunity.
