Leonidas Mustafa Cebeci


Previously, Mustafa was a call centre manager for various banks, including Barclays, for 17 years. His Leonidas franchise is based in Chester


What drew you to franchising? As this was my first business venture in the UK, franchising was the best way to get the support and guidance with minimum damage that can come as a result of inexperience.


Why did you choose to invest in Leonidas in particular? I have always admired the taste of the Leonidas chocolates, and when I had the right opportunity to open the franchise I did not have to think twice.


Has investing in a Leonidas franchise changed your lifestyle? Not a huge amount, but my career is completely different and more important to me now, as this is my own business. I love serving customers who are familiar and making great relationships with them.


In what way is your business flexible? I am able to choose my own hours and, because my shop operates as a coffee shop too, my day is always varied. As well as the Belgian chocolates, we


offer crepes, waffles and cakes. Chester is a tourist town and chocolate lovers enjoy having coffee among other products.


Do you have plans to grow the business in the future? Yes, we are planning to open two more stores in Manchester and Liverpool over the next 18 months.


What advice would you give potential Leonidas franchisees? I would advise people to go for the franchise if you enjoy the customer service. What’s more, make sure you know the product well and, last but not least, smile.
