Buckram block

One technique she regularly uses to achieve the desired end result is to make use of made-to-measure buckram blocks.


You can use this technique to


make a hat with it from any type of material, or to make a shape that


you want to send to a block maker to have it made in wood.


Making a made-to-measure block is a particularly useful technique when you need to create a hat for a customer with a very small or an extra-large head size.
