DRAGONFLY TAKES FLIGHT Vislink

DragonFly V is an ultra-compact HEVC HDR COFDM transmitter from Vislink which it claims will revolutionise live video capture from point-of-view (POV) cameras, UAVs, body-worn devices and more. The 1U rack-mounted AA battery charger is capable of simultaneously charging 48 AA Li-ion 1.5V batteries (included) and is designed specifi cally for the high-end AV industry. It delivers the capacity to charge 24 wireless microphones per rack unit and is compatible with in-ear monitoring systems and wireless microphones from all brands, including Shure, Sennheiser, AKG and more. KLVR says that unlike many


proprietary chargers, the Charger


Pro uses standard size AA batteries which makes it compatible with all devices, regardless of brand. The company also claims that its ability to charge 24 AA compatible devices in a compact 1U saves signifi cant real estate, while its KLVR Control desktop app displays the estimated charging time as well as real-time status updates for each battery. These are also indicated by LEDs inside the drawer as well as in the desktop app. The KLVR Charger Pro comes with two (1Gbps – switched) connectors; IEC C13 for power in, and IEC C14 for power link/out.
