THE INTERSECTION OF BROADCAST AND BROADBAND A packed programme of panel debates and product demos will take place across two Content Everywhere stages today, touching on topics including monetisation, content security and the challenges around OTT. The fi rst panel of the day on Stage 1 in Hall 5 will delve into the benefi ts and challenges of migrating from legacy systems. Fredrik Andersson, SVP SaaS Solutions, Accedo; Gary Hamer, Chief Commercial Offi cer, SmartLabs; and Matthew Wilkinson, CEO, Magine Pro, will share their extensive experience in supporting service providers in their transitions and consider the pros, cons and potential savings of transitioning from custom, in-house solutions to SaaS. Later in the day ‘Multiple Monetisation Models for Market Success’ sees Roberta Cambio, Senior Product Marketing
Manager, Brightcove, provide an overview of the variety of monetisation approaches, key metrics and emerging models such as eCommerce that go beyond subscriptions and ads. Naveen Narayanan, Head of Product Innovation and Data Science, Quickplay, will then share insight into how super-aggregation can counter declining subscriber bases and save traditional pay-TV operators, and Ashley Reynolds- Horne, Technical Director, Simplestream, will explain how market dynamics have prompted Simplestream to review its ad- tech stack, developing solutions to increase content monetisation opportunities for broadcasters and content owners.
On Stage 2 in Hall 14, Anastasia Melnikova, Solution Architect Streaming, Gcore; Jens Forum- Jensen, Head of Partnerships, Agile Content; and Mark de
Jong, Chairman, CDN Alliance, will assess the OTT ecosystem challenge when it comes to live sport.
In addition, ‘Keeping Content Everywhere Secure Everywhere’ will see experts from EZDRM, M2A and PallyCon share insights from around the world into the latest developments and consumer behaviours infl uencing content consumption and piracy. Panellists will explain techniques and technologies such as multi- DRM, tokenisation and forensic watermarking as well as industry initiatives such as C2PA.
This will be followed by a session featuring Neal Michie, Director of Product Management, PACE Anti-Piracy, which will explore the organisations’ four decades of experience protecting software intellectual property. He will discuss the risks of reverse engineering and provide practical

steps that can be taken to protect software algorithms.
In addition to panel debates, companies including castLabs, Backscreen, Strada and Insys Video Technologies will be demonstrating their latest innovations throughout the day.
