MEDIA MANAGEMENT UPDATE ON THE GO WITH WINMAM 3.9.0 winMedia
BY KEVIN EMMOTT
The latest 3.9.0 update to the winMam media asset management platform provides remote access to a full online audio editor to allow users to record new audio or transform any existing title in their database. Providing secure, web-based access via any internet-connected device and a standard browser, the feature enables users to manage their station’s asset library anytime and from anywhere in the world. The upgrade brings
together an online audio editor, audio processing
of voice recordings and a higher modularity of the user interface, as well as many other functionality improvements.
The upgrade adds to winMam’s media asset management and remote work toolkit. The application already provides a wide range of back-offi ce services including automatic transcoding; automatic multi-platform publishing; automatic media and metadata transfer between multi-site organisations; and automatic metadata enrichment. 8.D83c
