Procedure: Mix phase A1 ingredients together and heat to 80°C. Mix for ca. 10 minutes to avoid UV filters recrystallization. Add phase A2 ingredient to A1 and mix until homogeneous. Keep the mixture at 55-60°C. Prepare phase B: Add SunSpheres™ BIO SPF Booster to water and mix until fully dispersed (ca. 20 minutes). Add then the other ingredients of phase B, in order listed, mixing well between each addition. Prepare phase C: Mix ingredients in order listed ensuring homogeneous solution before next addition. Decrease mixing speed before adding AA2G (stringy). Add phase C to phase B and start heating to 50-55°C. Slowly add phase A to phase BC. Mix until homogeneous under moderate shear. Cool down to room temperature and add phase D ingredient. Mix for an additional 5 minutes under moderate shear. Check pH and adjust if needed to pH 5.5 - 5.8.

Procedure: Prepare Phase A and Heat-up to 80°C under stirring. Prepare Phase B. Pre-mix Phase C and add it to Phase B. Heat-up Phase B+C to 80°C under stirring. Add Phase B+C into Phase A under stirring. Homogenize with Ultra-Turrax for 5 minutes. Adjust the pH to 5.0-5.5. Cool down to room temperature under gentle stirring. Procedure: In main vessel weigh water phase A1 and heat to 70-72°C. Prepare oil phase B and heat to 70-72°C. Add phase A2 into A1 and disperse under medium shear (1500rpm) with rotor stator. Ensure that everything is dispersed correctly. Add phase A3 and mix well, keeping rotor stator to ensure that the gel is homogeneous. Neutralize Microcare® Amine Stam with Lactic acid of phase A4. Finish by adding phase A5, keeping rotor stator to ensure that the gel is homogeneous and all of phase A is homogeneous. Proceed with emulsion of phase B into phase A under high shear (2500rpm) with rotor stator. Homogenize for 10-15 minutes. Begin to cool down to 35°C under medium mixing. Add Phase C and mix well. One can put a low to medium shear with rotor stator (1000-1500rpm) to ensure that the formula is smooth. Adjust pH with phase D if necessary. Properties: Aspect: Off-white cream; pH: 4.9 ± 0.3; Viscosity Brookfield RV (spindle B, speed 5): approx. 50 000 mPa.s after 24h
