Welcome to the January issue of Personal Care Magazine. Happy new year! We hope you like our
fresh look with a rejigged front cover and feature content. In publishing technical
jargon, the cover has a
new masthead, a full cover bleed, a dominant main strapline detailing the lead story, and other cover lines highlighting individual articles rather than topics. This reflects our move away from concentrating
on a prescribed, limited number of topics in each issue. Personal Care Magazine will have a more timely
covering of the hottest topics, as well as a regional focus to coincide with upcoming trade shows. This month’s interview, for example, is with
Audrey Gueniche, the international scientific director of historic L’Oréal luxury beauty brand Helena Rubinstein. Gueniche, as indeed is L’Oréal, is based in Paris,
which plays host to this month’s Cosmet’Agora 2026 trade show on 13-14 January.
Personal Care will have a presence at the
Société Française de Cosmétologie-produced event, as we will at so many of the world’s leading personal care ingredient trade shows this year. We will attend shows all over the world, including PCHi China, New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists Suppliers’ Day, SCS Formulate as well as in-cosmetics Global, in-cosmetics Korea and in- cosmetics Asia. One of the highlights of exhibiting at the shows,
for us, is the distribution of our popular series of Little Books of formulations. These books are only available at trade shows and seem to get more popular with readers with each passing year. This year will see the publication of what are
sure to be two blockbuster editions: Little Book of Skin Care Volume 6 and Little Book of Natural Ingredients Volume 6. The former will debut at in- cosmetics Global and the latter at in-cosmetics Asia. This year will also see more digital content,
including video interviews and webinars. Keep an eye out at
https://personalcaremagazine.com/video and
https://personalcaremagazine.com/webinars respectively. Enjoy the magazine.
