Bangkok show smashes records as 9 Faces of APAC Beauty honoured


The 2025 edition of the in-cosmetics Asia trade show in Bangkok, Thailand saw record-breaking attendances with 14,383 unique visitors - up 10% year on year. There were over 21,000


visits across the three days and a 69% increase in full three-day attendance, while 40% of the attendees travelled from overseas. More than 700 exhibitors from


Southeast Asia, wider APAC markets including Japan, Korea and China, as well as Europe, the US and beyond participated, underscoring the show’s scale and influence across the global beauty ecosystem. Organiser RX said the 2025


edition of in-cosmetics Asia was the most influential to date by attracting a mix of high-profile industry leaders, C-suite executives, celebrity guests, Asian A-listers, beauty entrepreneurs and heads of some of the world’s best-known cosmetics houses. Regional celebrities included


Indonesian singer-songwriter Raisa Andriana, also founder of Raine Beauty. They were joined by


representatives from major global multinationals, including L’Oréal, P&G, Pierre-Fabre and Estée Lauder; leading local powerhouses such as Srichand, Paragon, Meiyume and trend-forward brands like Kangaroo Mommy. Now in its second year, the 9


Faces of the APAC Beauty Industry Award – supported by Personal Care Magazine - made an even deeper impact. The awards recognise


remarkable individuals whose work is transforming the region’s beauty landscape in a meaningful way. The full list of winners were:

awards, Momentive Performance Materials won gold for Harmonie NatuVel gel, a 100% natural-origin gel network said to offer formulators a new generation of sensory performance, providing a soft- focus, mattifying effect with a light, cushioned feel. Dow earned the silver for Dexcare


CD-2 Polymer ingredient, which redefines sustainable haircare with a biofermented dextran backbone derived from non-GMO sugarcane. Bronze was awarded to Hallstar


for Olivem Essenza, a naturally derived O/W emulsifier designed for low-viscosity emulsions with a light, hydrating touch. Meanwhile, in the Spotlight On


Formulation Awards, Solabia took gold for Serenibiome, a double-


patented active ingredient based that repairs skin sensitivity and helps break the itch-scratch cycle. Evonik received Silver for X50


NeoSyno-Col, a cutting-edge “cosmetic drone” designed to boost skin elasticity, firmness and density through targeted dermal delivery. Ichimaru Pharcos took Bronze


for Rice Bran Ferment, an upcycled beauty ingredient that harnesses unrefined rice bran to gently cleanse and moisturise the skin while improving smoothness and comfort. A record-breaking 120 entries


were submitted, recognising the best new Innovation Zone active and functional ingredients, along with the Spotlight On Formulation Awards judged live at the show. The judging panel included


international cosmetic scientists, R&D leaders and product developers from leading brands, including L’Oréal, Estée Lauder, Amorepacific and Paragon Corp. Sarah Gibson, event director of


in-cosmetics Asia, said: “This year’s in-cosmetics Asia has been truly momentous, both in its impact on the industry and as a clear marker of its position as the flagship event for the APAC beauty ecosystem. “We refresh the show every year


to ensure it remains the region’s most dynamic and influential international personal care ingredient event,” she added. The 2026 edition of in-


cosmetics Asia will take place on 3-5 November at the BITEC, Bangkok. “The show continues to bridge


innovation, technology and marketing in a way that no other event can. There’s even more new show initiatives to come,” said Gibson.
