NEVADA – The recently relaunched Sahara Las Vegas will open a poker room at the end of the month, featuring seven poker tables and a food offering. The company made the announcement via its Twitter account. The Sahara originally closed its 11-table poker room in 2011. The rest of the casino closed a month later, 59 years after its opening in 1952. The property re-opened in 2014 as the SLS Las Vegas, which stood for “style, luxury, and service.” The Meruelo Group bought SLS Las Vegas in 2018 and brought back the Sahara name in August last year.
US – Expanding on a long-term partnership and laying the groundwork for the future, JCM Global and Penn National Gaming have entered into a multi- year master supplier agreement that allows Penn National Gaming to increase its connections with players across the entire casino enterprise.
Under the agreement covering over 36,000 electronic gaming machines, JCM will supply equipment and systems to Penn National Gaming for many of its existing properties and all new properties for the next five years. Among the products JCM will supply are the iVIZION bill validator, GEN5 Thermal Printer, the FUZION peripheral management system, the ICB Intelligent Cash Box system, and the PROMONET floor-wide promotional couponing system.

Te ceremony was conducted at the construction site, located at 5400 West 29th Ave. in Gary, and included state and local officials, Spectacle Entertainment and Hard Rock executives.
Te premier 200,000ft. entertainment complex is a joint venture between the two companies and will include six food venues, a sportsbook, a retail shop, a 2,000-seat showroom and more than 2,130 gaming positions.
